Women's North Face Aconcagua Down Vest

Cozy North Face Vest for Chilly Nights.

It is still August but where I live we have started to have a few chilly nights. I notice this more as we get into September, so things may be a bit early this year.

North Face has a wonderful solution for women this cozy down filled vest. The Aconcagua is very light weight only 520 grams (just over a pound) and is suitable for chilly nights or as an extra thermal layer under a jacket.

If you have never owned a down vest, it is the height of warmth and light weight. The vest also allows you full mobility of your arms. Obviously a vest is good for taking a bit of a chill off when camping or hiking, but people forget that when skiing in warm sunshine it may be the only heavy top layer you need.

For many years I used a combination of a down vest with a windshell over top as my light winter coat. It was not appropriate for really cold blowing days but for the more moderate ones worked perfectly.

If you would like more information about the vest just click on the picture or the link below and you can get more information.
